ELMS offer a range of environmental services from peatland and river restoration to habitat surveys and invasive non-native species control.

Peatlands and Moorlands

ELMS specialise in restoring peatland habitats, from sphagnum moss planting and hydrological measures such as gully and grip blocking, to bare peat stabilisation and reseeding, we apply a tailored and integrated approach to each site.

Rivers and Wetlands

​We deliver innovative solutions for restoring river and wetland landscapes.  Whether that is reconnecting floodplains, pond habitat restoration, natural engineering and sustainable natural flood management, we have excellent understanding of catchment scale interventions.

Arboriculture and Forestry

Our teams are experienced in woodland and forestry management services including both mechanised and manual operations to suit a diverse range of landscapes. From planting schemes to arboriculture services all of our work is delivered safely and effectively.

Vegetation and Invasive Non-native Species Control

We offer effective solutions for controlling invasive non-native species (INNS) and other vegetation types including Heather, Molinia and Bracken, through a variety of environmentally sensitive approaches.

Infrastructure and Grounds Maintainenace

 ELMS carries out land management works such as footpath repairs, boardwalks, dry stone walling and fencing. We also offer hedgerow planting and wildflower meadow creation.

Surveying and Consultancy

ELMS are able to provide a range of surveys and expert, tailored advice to enable you to understand the processes and presence of features on your site to help inform land management decisions.
